Me + Music

An accomplished composer for trailer-music stalwart Audiomachine, and virtuoso cellist and guitarist in the LA music industry, Roman Soto's creative outlets know no bounds.

An alumnus of Berklee College of Music in contemporary writing and production and cello performance, Roman broke into the film and media industry upon arriving in LA with an immense and unique skill set that has made him a hot commodity.

Roman has quickly established himself as a force in LA - having written and recorded music for names such as Call of Duty Mobile, MGM+’s ‘Emperor of Ocean Park’, Showtime's 'Escape at Dannemora' and ‘Station Eleven’, Tyler Perry’s ‘Mea Culpa’, The CW's 'Superman and Lois', Hulu's 'Ramy', Netease's Onmyoji, and a wide gamut of projects in between - on top of his releases in Audiomachine's burgeoning catalogue of trailer and underscore music.

Being influenced by such artists as The Fall of Troy, T-Square, An Endless Sporadic and the likes of Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich, his music weaves in and out of classical convention - fusing his love for progressive rock, post-hardcore, and jazz-fusion with his training and passion for classical composition.

As a cellist, Roman has enjoyed years of success playing with and alongside orchestra's such as The Houston Symphony, The Virtuosi of Houston in his native Texas, and performing and teaching at festivals abroad such as Valdres Sommersymfoni in Norway, and Interharmony in Germany.
